Pierre Gasly is a French F1 driver currently racing for the Alpine team. Gasly started his F1 career with the then Toro Rosso team before an ill-fated step up to the main Red Bull team ended in a demotion, which was played out in graphic detail on F1's hit Netflix documentary show 'Drive to Survive'. Gasly has been impressive since stepping back down to AlphaTauri, claiming his maiden F1 race win in the 2020 Italian Grand Prix at Monza.
Pierre was born in Rouen, France on February 7, 1996 and he is now 28 years of age. The Frenchman stands at a height of 5ft 10ins tall (1.77m).
Seeking a fresh start, Gasly joined Alpine for 2023 in an all-French driver pairing with Esteban Ocon. His season yielded 62 points, securing him a respectable 11th place in the overall standings.
F1 driver contracts and salaries are often a very closely guarded secret; the only people who really know are the driver, his agent, and the team.
Reports in 2023 put Gasly's current deal with Alpine at a value of $8 million (salary $5m, bonuses $3m) annually.
