Sergio Perez, nicknamed 'Checo', is a hugely popular Mexican F1 driver racing for the Red Bull Racing team. Born on January 26, 1990 in Guadalajara, Perez is now 34 years of age. He stands at a height of 5ft 8ins tall (1.73m).
Perez is one of the most experienced drivers on the grid.The Mexican made his debut in 2011 with Sauber after finishing runner-up in the previous year's GP2 Series.
Perez finished the 2023 season with two race wins, two pole positions, six podium finishes, and two fastest laps.
He amassed a total of 285 points, which earned him second place in the drivers' standings—his personal best in F1 thus far.
